"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"
Parkland Garden Club members attended an exclusive members-only planter workshop on May 6th at Eagle Point Farm Market and Greenhouses, 853 Trexlertown Road, Allentown. Participants brought their own containers which Eagle Point owner Gayle Ganser filled with a rich potting soil mixture. Kirk Brown provided guidance on choosing the best plants for a dazzling look. He introduced many new plant varieties that are available at Eagle Point and gave recommendations on the best care for them. Wine and cheese was enjoyed as the beautiful planting arrangements took shape. It was a wonderful evening of creativity and friendship!
Parkland Garden Club members and guests met at Jordan Lutheran Church, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 and boarded a chartered bus to the Philadelphia Convention Center to tour the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show. This year's flower show theme , "United by Flowers", celebrated the unique and colorful community born out of a shared love and appreciation of gardening and the connections and impact they create on our everyday lives. Members spent their day seeing an abundance of floral exhibits and enjoying the company of friends.
