"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"
About this activity:
The Parkland Garden Club participates in the Trunk or Treat Event organized by either South Whitehall Township or Upper Macungie Township. Members join other Local Businesses, Organizations and Individuals who decorate a vehicle and give out candy to kids in the community!
PGC members Helen Papathanasiou, Sherry Lerch, Cynthia Dunton, Marianne Wagner, Ann Kemmerer and Gina Costello participated in this year's annual South Whitehall Township Halloween Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event at Covered Bridge Park on Friday, October 17th. The group dressed up in costumes and handed out candy to trick or treaters in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the seed packets that were also given away. The activity was a fun way for people in the community to learn about our club.
PGC members Sherry Lerch, Cynthia Dunton, Helen Papathanasiou and Gina Costello participated in the 2nd annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event at Lone Lane Park in Upper Macungie Township on October 18th. The group dressed up in costumes and handed out treats to approximately 1800 trick or treaters in attendance.
