"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"

The Parkland Garden Club participates in the Trunk or Treat Event organized by South Whitehall Township. Members join other Local Businesses, Organizations and Individuals who decorate a vehicle and give out candy to kids in the community!
Unfortunately due to the heavy rains forcasted and potential flooding issues at Covered Bridge Park, the 2023 Spooktacular event including Trunk or Treat was cancelled. PGC was still able to support the community by donating the candy treats to the Miracle League and Sheridan Elementary School.
The event took place on Friday, October 21st from 5:00-6:00 pm at Covered Bridge Park (2465 Wehr Mill Road). Cynthia , Evelyn, Carol and Helen dressed up in Halloween costumes and gave out 240 Halloween Rice Krispie Treats. Brenda Aubert printed labels with the club's information, which were put on the treats by Helen and Brenda. Evelyn's costume got favorable comments from the public. She came as a bag of potting soil!
