"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"
About this activity:
The Parkland Garden Club participates in the Trunk or Treat Event organized by either South Whitehall Township or Upper Macungie Township. Members join other Local Businesses, Organizations and Individuals who decorate a vehicle and give out candy to kids in the community!
PGC members Sherry Lurch, Cynthia Dunton, Helen Papathanasiou and Gina Costello participated in the 2nd annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event at Lone Lane Park in Upper Macungie Township on October 18th. The group dressed up in costumes and handed out treats to approximately 1800 trick or treaters in attendance.
Unfortunately due to the heavy rains forcasted and potential flooding issues at Covered Bridge Park, the 2023 Spooktacular event including Trunk or Treat was cancelled. PGC was still able to support the community by donating the candy treats to the Miracle League and Sheridan Elementary School.
