"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"
About this program:
The scholarship was established in 1980 by a group of ten members of the Parkland Garden Club. The purpose of the scholarship is to further the interest of graduating seniors in the fields of horticulture/floriculture or a related field of study. Initially, the scholarship was in the amount of $250, and the scholarship amount for 2023 will be $2,000.00. Applicants may be from any school district represented by members of the Parkland Garden Club, and the recipient is chosen after an interview by a committee of three garden club members. The Parkland Garden Club is proud of the many fine scholars who have profited from this philanthropy.
