Hands On Workshop presented by Nancy Smith
Nancy, the program chair of the Parkland Garden Club will lead us in a hands-on workshop creating a fairy garden.
Let’s use our imagination to create a miniature world. Start with a pot you have on hand, a clay one works well (about 8 inches). You will need to fill it with soil by placing a coffee filter or newspaper in the bottom, so the soil doesn’t spill out. You can buy fairy’s, gnomes, or woodland creatures to use in your enchanted garden. Add benches, bridges, swings, and small houses. Supplies can be purchased at Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, or garden centers. The club will supply colored stones, rocks, and moss to complete your garden.
